Why Care!

I care for you because you are you

I care because its what I wish to do

I care when pain crosses your path

I care when you cry yell and laugh

I want you to feel special and not In pain

I do it because your You Not for personal pleasure and gain

although I get hurt do to caring so

I will not change and live as society will show.

People say I have problems feeling pain others go through

caring so is not normal I guess this is true

if the world would care more Just not judge one another

instead of anger just hug treating all Like sister or brother

as a tear trickles down my face with this thought
if the world would just care no war need fought.

as a tear tickle down my face as so many do,
I will never be like society I will always have a hug for you.

why care well its simply this
Without care we as a world simply wouldn't exist.

A friend is my Angel

An angel there to guide you a guardian from above
there for your hopes and dreams guiding
you with so much precious love.

But the truest of all angels are ones around me every day
the ones who listen to my happiness
and help wash my tears away.

the one' s who's hearts are open the ones that hear every hope and dream,
not judging yet understanding not harmful yet healing my self-esteem.

the truest angels I speak of are around me everyday.. by phone, writing
or in my arms they are my friends they are true at heart and want to stay.

Memory of one I love (Mom)

You can not have life without death .

You cannot have happiness without pain.

So it's been said to me in more words than this.

Grief hides around the corner, so sneaky, so real.

It comes in the smells of our favorite meals as I pass homes at dinner time.

It comes as a voice calling my name in the night.

Grief is so cunning, so smooth, I never know when were or how.

In a distance I see you walking in the sweater I bought you one Christmas.

I, so excited, speed up and want to catch up to you with my arms open wide.

In a moment, as I draw closer, I remember it could not be true

For you died a few years ago, grief still sneaks up on me out of the blue.

I get very sad, celebrations still hard and nights sometimes long.

The only things that soothe are the thoughts of a place were you may now stay

Were no pain or sadness resides for you, and you are healthy, fit, and strong,

And you understand me now, and also know I am happy and will be married soon.

I hate looking down at grass and the stone etched with few words, as I tell you

of my wedding news.

So instead, now I look up. Hey a bird, and trees, and a sky today of such a beautiful blue.

I think I'll go home, or walk in the woods, a much better place to think and share with you.

The grief doesn’t have to be awful its just there and will have to do.

When Love Hurts

When the time ticks on, oh so slowly

While I await your arrival home

From work, a friends, or the store down the street

When I worry over your being sick,

Depressed, when late coming home,

Or of just your silence that may drag for hours.

When we argue over silly things,

Yet still hurting the others feelings, or when

We can just see the sadness or fear in the other's eyes.

When love hurts the most is when I can’t hold you tight enough

Or climb inside of you, feeling every bit of your warmth,

And when a lifetime or forever doesn’t seem long enough to spend with you.

I sometimes hate so much when love hurts

But it will always keep us so close

I know this because when it hurts I know I am feeling so much for you

And wish to hold on forever and never let you go.
